NASP

Fast Track – NY is funded and supported by the NASP-NY foundation, a 501 c(3) non-profit organization. The program was founded in 1996 by the New York chapter of the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP).

The National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP) is the premier organization that assists people of color and women achieve inclusion in the financial services industry. 

NASP:

  • Connects members to industry leaders and business opportunities
  • Advocates for policies that create equal representation and inclusion
  • Provides educational opportunities; and
  • Works to build awareness about the value of ensuring that people of color and women are included in all aspects of the financial services industry

NASP was founded in Chicago in 1985 by Maynard H. Jackson, Felicia Flowers-Smith, Joyce M. Johnson & Donald Davidson. From a core group of 44 people in attendance at NASP’s first organizational meeting in 1985, the NASP has grown now boasting a membership of over 500.

NASP is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and currently has 10 local chapters throughout the United States.
